Greetings Durham Chapter Members, NCCU Alumni, Family, and Friends:

North Carolina Central University Alumni Association – Durham Chapter is excited to raise dollars for scholars.  We recently established the Durham Chapter NCCUAA Endowed Scholarship Fund with the NCCU Foundation, Inc. for Durham, NC high school seniors, including home school seniors.  Join us in helping students further their education at our illustrious alma mater.

 Why Support the Durham Chapter NCCUAA Endowed Scholarship Fund?

• Support students to further their education.
• Reduce financial stress and help students focus more on their studies.
• Minimize student debt.
• Your donation is tax deductible.
• The endowed scholarship fund will provide funds to exist in perpetuity.

 The Durham Chapter NCCUAA Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in October 2021.  Within the first 3 months we collected $5,175.  As of January 2023, contributions to the endowed scholarship fund during Durham Chapter National Day of Giving, NCCU Dare to Soar and additional giving total $12,906.94.  As of April 3, 2024, we have collected a total of $21,102.06.  We need $3,897.94 to begin providing scholarships to students.

Durham Chapter’s ultimate goal is to raise $100,000 or more.

Select Durham Chapter NCCUAA Endowed Scholarship Fund under I want to support drop-down list.  Add additional information in the Comments field, if needed, and complete the Donor and Payment information. 
• Phone: Call NCCU Institutional Advancement at (919) 530-6151 to offer your immediate support with a credit card, check, or bank draft.
• Mail: Make check payable to NCCU Foundation, Inc. and send to NCCU Advancement Services, PO Box 19363, William Jones Building, Durham, NC 27707 (Memo line: Durham Chapter NCCUAA Endowed Scholarship).
